ASU Students Predict the Future

Updated: Mar 14, 2019

College students are constantly stressing about their futures...but just how far in the future are they thinking?

With technology advancing faster than ever, social change, environmental crisis, what will our world look like in 50 years? What new advances will me make? What will the human race look like? Will we even still be here?

We took a poll and asked the community of ASU what they thought they would see in the future.

Self-Driving Cars: 5

Live on Mars: 1

Environment will get worse: 5

Robots will be used in everyday life: 10

Natural Disasters: 3

Here are some of our favorite and most interesting student perspectives about our future:

“I just hope people are nice to each other and everything is good and we all have a good time.”

“I read a report that said that if we don’t reverse the trend right now, in fourteen years all the effects will be maximized.”

“Hopefully wealth and equality will be solved by then.”

What do you think our world will look like in the next 20,50, or even 100 years?
